The night of the 15th of September of 1810 when the Priest Hidalgo tolled the Bells and summoned the people to Independence at the Church of Dolores Hidalgo is celebrated with two days of festivities and fireworks, parades, games, speeches and a military march on the 16th as a national holiday.
